why blog episode III
Tweet
Not once have I noticed that the most popular external link from my blog was next blog. It would seem that not only people reach this page by chance, but also as a part of a killing free-time routine, blog browsing. So I embarked on a quest for the next best random blog. The key learning is that I'll never ever do it again. A few reasons why cutting your veins is a better time-killing alternative:1. You needn't know just how many people can't spell, leave aside write.
2. You needn't learn just how many people can't edit a link or pass the (in)famous three-months blogging barrier.
3. You needn't load the weirdest collection of background graphics and songs.
4. You needn't browse an average of 50 blogs before you come across something that you can really read (in my case, the musings of a NYC writer diagnosed with a rare form of cancer).
5. You needn't experience an overload of my-religion-is-better-than-yours, if-you-can't-take-racism-then-stop-reading, exams-are-so-tough-I-hate-my-life, I'm-so-specialized-that-I-can't-use-common-words-anymore, and my favourite so far, I'm-so-pretty-and-I-so-totally-adore-my-boyfriend. What I'd love to understand beyond the strange practice of random blog browsing is where do so many people (can't be all teenagers!) find so much time to kill so uncreatively, so unproductively. P.S. This post was originally titled browse blogs? no, cut your veins.
