chez gorgeoux: smoked salmon quickies

Smoked salmon beats salmon, if you ask me; only Nordic salmon soup equals smoked salmon at times. Next to a rich black bread, preferably of German or Italian origin (onion, raisins, potatoes, nuts or olives inside a welcomed plus), smoked salmon thrills my taste buds like few foods in the whole world do. These are five of my favorite black bread + smoked salmon quickies: 1. peanut butter 2. fresh pickled cucumbers 3. feta 4. capers omelet 5. (mango/ cilantro-) avocado salsa. The best part is that you can have all of them (different breads, different combinations) during the same meal. As I eat, these normal salmon recipes drive me wild and I'm considering both a trip to Alaska this lifetime and a deeper foray into smoked salmon recipes. Photo found here.Labels: cookery

If I told you salmon is healthy... some omega 3 fats... wouldn't you indulge yourself with more, more, more salmon?
