relaxed, enchanted, and inspired

One late morning in the mountains, the rarely felt PMS, utmost cheekiness, a pulsing headache and consequent laziness kicked in at the same time.As I tried to address each and all of them performing secret tricks in the bathroom, my love arranged my grieving bed in the sweetest unexpected way: my book, my iPod, chocolates and mandarins surrounded my pillow.
He then delicately tucked me in for an afternoon sleep, and went away.
Sun was dripping through the curtains as I tried to read and started listening to music. The music on my iPod still is his music, since I cannot be convinced to install iTunes on my already slow laptop. I chose the playlist bearing my name, which includes song from me but not only, and some hour later I eventually succumbed to drowsiness on the wings of Mogwai.
Then some other hour later, it was the same Mogwai that woke me up refreshed and relieved of pain. I didn't know Mogwai. I didn't listen to it again until today, while working. I chose the same playlist, absent minded. I didn't think that most rock, even the odd pop-rock, could provide me with so much. Evening pours its blueish notes over the city and police cars speed afar as I work away, transported back in time to a place I didn't think I could embed in my being like the madeleine of Proust. I'm very chilled, very lucky, and very much in love.
