chez gorgeoux: mustard bread. in other news, teddy goes london, and so does silvia
Tweet

Today I tried my hand at mustard bread and then turned the dough into rolls. The outcome is tasty and with a great crust, though it could be more airy, take some extra mustard, and not burn its crust this much. I could also read how to make sesame seeds stick to it, and get more rolls out of that dough.Silvia [RO] arrived just in time for sandwiches, and left soon after, so it's unclear if she survived them. We know, so far, that she found our flat to be a little fairytale. I thought it wouldn't be fair to leave Teddy last, so he spent some quality time on the balcony before she arrived. Teddy has come from my sister some two years ago and was bound to finally see London. While you can see the house looking ready for our very important guests, note the African looking pot holding the fruits. That has been the most fragile item we had to bring to London, next to my Moroccan ashtray, and we're happy that the pot traveled in business class, wrapped in my pink fur coat, and enjoyed both.
