when life gives you roses

It doesn't matter anymore that we went out to the Royal Observatory so I can finally meet GMT in person and stand on the meridian line. Even cross it. It doesn't matter anymore that the meridian footpath is closed right now and GMT was only a clock on a wall. It matters that the day was splendid and Greenwich treated us nicely. It matters that we ate amazing triple chocolate shortbread and checked out a long row of roses. Bonus? The noisy squirrel you don't see.

Amazing triple chocolate shortbread... You should be punished! :)

I think that the meridian line felt I was buying the shortbread before coming to see it and closed itself away from me. I was, thus punished.

I can expect, though, that you see how London is a Wizz Air flight away, and comes with a sofa bed properly located so that one hunts all the shortbreads of the world.
