london bloggers meetup, a happy tune tweet this send to google buzz

Present at my first London Bloggers Meetup last night, I had a fun, relaxed time meeting very diverse bloggers and was reminded of Londonist's drinks last month in terms of atmosphere. I chatted with Cate Sevilla (U.S.) and Stuart Waterman (whom I must've scared slightly) from Shiny Media, Improbulus, Peter Marshall (check his immense collection of London events' photos), Bronwen Dekker, Tim Dickinson (Canada), and Andy Bargery, the kind and cheerful organiser that took this photo. I hope I recalled everyone. About twice as many bloggers I've yet to meet, and I'm a bit sorry not to be in town for the next round. Only a bit since I expect to be back with the group in January. I missed Matt Brown (Londonist, Nature Network), so I hope he can make it another time. If you're a London blogger looking to meet brothers and sisters in arms, be sure to join the group of more than 40 members.

As a side note, the Camel & Artichoke pub was OK, if you like Greene King IPA beer and know your Waterloo Station surroundings in and out. I didn't, and ended up at London Eye after much effort and taking the wrong turn in the only tunnel in town that hasn't got signs. Thank blogging gods, my love came to rescue.
