similar shapes: what do to do, what to do?

similar shapes, originally uploaded by gorgeoux.

Thankful I needn't choose, for I couldn't—I change my mind every other minute. Alexander McQueen's stiletto-heeled sandals vs. DSquared2's bejeweled strappy sandals, as seen on Manolo's Shoe Blog a while ago. What would you pick, and why?

I generally agree, unless you end up wearing them at a countryside (think lawn, a lot of it) wedding for 14 hours in the row, half spent standing :)

the DSquared ones. for practical and esthetic reasons too. I totally dislike stilettos with platform sole, even if AMQ's are not that high.

Fair point, Monica; now that you made it, I can't ignore the platforms anymore. Must say, though, that walking on thin soles in London is one of the worst ideas, as there hardly ever is a flat surface; also, all my leather soles are suffering from the bumpy sidewalks and bad weather. That may explain why so many ladies have taken to the platform shoes with glee.

Ancu, I find both classy, and though I love golden shoes, I slightly incline towards the DSquared2 pair.

My sister says McQueen because the straps are more interesting. Also, because the lilac of DSquared2 would be lost/ hidden under the foot.
