legally rich # 14: goodbye CDs at concerts
Tweet
How about selling iTunes cards instead of CDs at concerts? Almost everyone who's into music has an iPod and a debit card to allow them to set up iTunes Store. Funny enough, I'm not crazy about iTunes, not even now that its Genius playlists are out—same ole mainstream songs and bands instead of unearthing something cool out of someone's piles of music. However, who uses CDs anymore today? I believe that artists and labels that can move at the same speed with technologies embraced by their audiences have more ears and hearts to win, and I believe that the answer isn't having another messy MySpace page, or being on Facebook. That does not sell. Neither do CDs.
