small things, grand pleasures Tweet

Three weeks ago we bought these pink campanulas (Canterbury bells, if you like) and pink freesias. The same day we received white and pink alstroemerias. All three were looking amazingly fresh and cheerful together, and gracing our flat with suave fragrances. The freesias bloomed and died within a week. The alstroemerias during the second week. The campanulas are still here. I have totally fallen in love with their elegance, endurance, and delicate perfume.
