Each year for a while now I've been giving myself at least one present on my birthday. What better excuse to go shopping than spoiling yourself? And spoiling is one good name for what I did this year: went straight to Bang Bang on Goodge Street and spotted these brilliant babies soon after I entered. Vintage, purple, low heel, my size and a tenner, could it get any better? It definitely could: I was eying a similar pair for ten times the money. Happy Birthday to smart and lucky me!

Of course, the moment I got home I employed the new suede brush to vigorously revive them.
