We've done this in the past with great success (in finding some needed items that not even shops would carry) and satisfaction (seeing people grab our stuff and even receiving thanks on the spot). Occasionally we take stuff to Oxfam, as well, and the two of them help us help others and not keep piles of nonsense in a flat where storage has never been considered. One thing we cannot do is Freecycle, not for every goddamn little thing that is put aside, so if you're anything like us and live in Camden, see you at the

12.30pm- 2.00pm Take away something you do need—it's all free!
WHAT TO GIVE & TAKE: books, magazines, CDs, DVDs, tapes, toys, bric-a-brac, bikes, plants, kitchenware, electrical and electronic goods. All electrical goods will be safety tested on the day. We will also be accepting good quality furniture at this event, but you will need to arrange your own transport. Residents' parking available near the venue.
PLUS: Fun activities for kids & Information stalls for recycling, composting, real nappies and energy
NEW: plant exchange. Do something really green—grow a plant and receive expert advice and tips from our green garden expert. Bring along any unloved houseplants in need of a new home, or take away plants for your own home or garden.
