street photography day, and my take on it
Tweet
Catching up with The Online Photographer last night, I learned it was street photography day today. Perhaps I knew about this initiative before, but didn't quite put it in the calendar. That has changed.
As far as I could tell this morning, I had all of five minutes to spare on my walk to work, so that had to do it. By the end of the day I also got to walk home in daylight, and catch a few more shots. London was at its best, and I didn't let the shortage of time put me down. You do what you can with what you have. And I'm pleased enough with the outcome that I uploaded my chosen ten shots to my better Flickr stream.
It's these little moments that make life worth living, and I hope you'll enjoy how I captured other people's lives today. And maybe, just maybe, it'll make you see more and capture more wonderful stories around you. The streets are alive!
